We photographed Kristi and Jon’s wedding this past Saturday and it was different in almost every way from the weddings we are used to photographing. It was in a barn to start. I don’t have too many of those in Philly. Photos at a train station. Pretty different. Kristi made her flowers, the bridesmaid’s flowers and all the center pieces from some sort of kid’s clay material. (The detail she put into the flowers was amazing!) And the reception was at a restaurant with their friends playing the parts of DJ. It was not our normal experience but Kristi and Jon had all their friends around them and had a wonderful day. I couldn’t be more proud of the photos we created on Saturday. I hope you love them too.
aren’t those flowers awesome for being made of clay/foam? I can’t imagine how long that must have taken.
This is the ceiling of the barn that they were married in. Isn’t it beautiful.
After looking at this picture now I wish the guys could have had some pick axes or some railroad tools. That would have been cool.
Everyone sitting had rusty orange bottoms after this shot.
Late for the reception. Running across a road. Jon is desperately trying to keep up.
Pictures look fantastic. Can’t wait to see them all. Just thought you might want to correct the names though….it is Kristi and Jon.
Hi Eve, thank you so much for letting me know about Kristi and Jon’s names. I just photographed a Krista and Shaun and I was working too late on these. My brain wasn’t working. I’m glad that you love the photos!
Doug, you never cease to amaze me! Love your work and enjoy your blog posts. Del’s Groove looks forward to working with you in the future! ~ Susan
These pictures really captured the essence of the event. Very beautiful pictures of a beautiful couple, on their beautiful day, surrounded by
