When you first hear about taking your engagement photos at a community college you may feel the way I did when someone asked me to shoot there for the first time. A community college? Really? After seeing the gardens I was hooked and I’ve been back many times since. This is where I asked Julie and Shaun to go. It’s a gorgeous place with all sorts of cool places. We were almost kicked out but after some talking I saved the final shot from being lost forever because of a hardened security guard.
I really like the feel of this photo. It’s like a little secret garden.
One of my favorite couples of the year. When I was with them I felt like everything worked. Creativity flowed. Wait till you see their wedding photos!
The security guard came over to shut us down just as I was setting up for this shot. I pleaded with him for a bit and he finally let us stay for sunset.
