Mandy and Daniel were referred to me by my wonderful sister-in-law, Allyson. Mandy and Allyson are good friends and each have been bridesmaids in the other’s weddings. Even though Mandy and Daniel were having their wedding in Washington DC, they still asked me to be their photographer. The drive isn’t too bad. 3 hours and I was there. The Fairmont is a gorgeous place for a wedding. Sean and I were in wedding photography heaven!! The hotel is filled with natural light coming through an all glass ceiling, gorgeous architechture everywhere and well kept gardens. I spent 3 hours roaming the hotel with the two of them, the bridal party and family. All nervousness was washed away when Mandy and Daniel had their first look. It’s like flipping a switch. You can tell without a doubt that these two are happiest together. It was a wonderful time. It was a perfect day from beginning to end and there was no shortage of inspiration everywhere. Mandy looked beautiful in glasses or without. Daniel was very cool and handsome in full tux. The two of them looked perfect in the photos. What a great couple, location and wedding day!
