Photography for Charity!!!!!

I am so excited to tell you about Candid Moments Photography’s first charity event.  On April 17th (Saturday) I will be photographing 20 moms and daughters to raise money for a charity organization that is close to Michelle and my heart.  The organization is named daughters and they rescue women young girls from the human trafficking industry in Cambodia.  If you are not aware of what human trafficking is, it is the enslavement of people who are taken from their homes and forced to work for little or no money.  In Cambodia, the women and children who are enslaved are many times used as sex slaves and often have no other options.  Daughters takes women out of this life and teaches them ways to make money and live on their own.  If you want more info please go to their website www.daughterscambodia.org.

Candid Moments Photography is selling 10-15 minute sessions for $25.  Prints are sold separately but all proceeds will be going to the charity.  A woman can be rescued and educated for one year for $880.  My hope is that we can raise $1760 and rescue two women.  Right now I have 11 spots filled.  I would love to fill the last 9 spots.  If you or someone you know might be interested in either being photographed or helping the day run smoothly please contact me.  This is only for moms and daughters (and grandmothers).  Sorry dads and sons! :(

The sessions will all be at my studio in the Doylestown area.  I still have slots open throughout the day so please give me a call as soon as you can!

Give two women their freedom and take home awesome portraits of you and your daughter!  Please sign up today to be a part of this event.

Liz’s Maternity Photos

The new studio is so much fun.  I have been trying my hand at all sorts of photography and recently I was asked to take some maternity photos by Liz.  Her husband wasn’t thrilled by the idea but he played along and was a good sport.  Here’s a tip for all of you boyfriends, fiances and husbands out there.  Women love photos of the two of you and especially of their babies.  If you want some huge points give me a call and set up a photography session for the two of you and or your family.  Women love photos of their loved ones.

Anyway, the first child is huge for couples.  It’s so exciting and emotional.  I will never forget it.  If I have the time (never) I will show you a few of the maternity photos that a friend of mine took when Michelle was expecting our first.  But, I am off on another tangent.  Liz called and asked for some maternity photos and while I hadn’t done them before I was excited to give it a try.  I think it was a success.  I asked Liz’s permission to post these and she said of course, so here they are.  I love them.
