Well, I missed the weekly blog again! :( It’s becoming a terrible habit. Terrible for me, not for you. If you aren’t checking the blog every week you are crazy. My studio opening is only 3 days in the past and I have my first session ready to show you all! Take a look a baby Andrew. Isn’t he handsome? I couldn’t be happier with how my first session turned out. I learned a lot and can’t wait to try out some more ideas. I have had a few sessions since then and I am excited to show you them too! For now enjoy some baby yuminess. Andrew was only two weeks old by the way.
P.S. - I have an awesome shot of him peeing all over his mom and my studio but there’s nudity and I can’t embarrass the little guy like that. But it’s pretty funny though.
I had the opportunity to photograph a soccer player who was trying out for the new Major League Soccer team coming to Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Union. Marck had soccer skills and it was so much fun playing around with some cool action shots. This was the first time I had ever used my new Alien Bees lighting equipment so I was a little nervous but I was so happy with the results.

You haven’t seen Cheryl and Steve’s photos yet since their wedding wasn’t that long ago but they have already caught me not blogging. I just put up Tina and Steve’s wedding but before that I went longer than 7 days without blogging. Since Cheryl was the first to e-mail me stating that I didn’t post in 7 days she wins a free session. Keep checking in because I am getting busy with my new studio and you never know when I will not get a new blog post ready on time!

Tina has been a fan of mine for a long time now and had excitedly commented on my facebook page for several months before her wedding. She found us through her close friend Alix (09′ wedding), who found me through her sister (07′ wedding) I now hear that one of her bridesmaids is getting married on a tropical Island and I really really want to have that wedding! But sadly, I think it’s on June 11th or something and my third baby is due on the 10th. So, that doesn’t sound good.
Tina and Steve had their reception at the Talamore Country Club and we had an awesome sunset. The party was great and I knew half the guests from other weddings so it was like family. I had a terrific time and was very happy with the end result. Some of my favorites were the photos in the leaves at Tina’s house. What a great backdrop for photos.
