Heather and Colin’s Engagement Photos

Many of you may know that I offer a free session for the first person who catches me not blogging in a 7 day period.  This game is mostly to keep me from getting too far behind on my blogging.  I’m sad to say that I have a lot of clients out there eagerly waiting for me to fail.  Well, at least not blog in 7 days so that they can get a free session out of it!  :)  Heather was one of those lucky brides who e-mailed me a few months ago letting me know that I was behind on my blogging.  Here is the session that came out of that.  This is exactly why everyone out there should be watching my blog like a hawk.  Enjoy!

Margaret and John’s Engagement Photos (by Georgi)

Georgi has been working with me for over 2 years now and is quickly becoming a fantastic photographer.  I have recently been offering his services to clients who come to us.  Margaret and John saw his amazing work and were smitten.  Georgi spent a few hours with photographing Margaret and John around the beautiful gardens at Longwood Gardens.

Shannon and Jason’s Wedding

Shannon and Jason were married at Saint Timothy’s Church in Philadelphia and had their reception at the Torresdale Frankford Country Club.  Georgi hung out with the guys and I photographed the beautiful bride and bridesmaids.  The Eagles bus drove the bridal party around even though Jason is a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  The reception was decorated with Phillies and Steelers memorabelia.  Even the table cards were little baseballs and footballs.  Shannon and Jason wowed the crowd with a coreographed dance to the song “Hard to Concentrate” by the Red Hot Chili Peppers which by the way will not get out of my head.  If you haven’t heard it, get it.  It’s awesome.  Even though Shannon loves to party and couldn’t wait to get on the dance floor, she allowed us to take some photos out on the golf course and I’m glad she did cause they look great.  In the end the party was great and their friends were so much fun.  We had a great time at that reception!

Samantha and Nick’s Wedding Photos

As many of you may know, I have been offering a 2nd team of photographers to photograph weddings that take place on dates that I am already booked on.  Adam and Georgi have both worked for me for over two years now and do amazing work.  Samantha and Nick chose to have Adam and Georgi be their photographers for the day and I think the wedding photos turned out great.

Adam said that he could have taken their photos in a parking lot and they would have turned out great.  Samantha and Nick’s expressions and passion are a photographer’s dream come true.  You can’t look at these photos without smiling.

Cheryl and Steve’s Engagement Photos

Cheryl and Steve just recently asked me to photograph their wedding and I have to say I was pretty excited.  Cheryl was excited about the whole thing and I think she’s going to be a fantastic bride.  While Steve wasn’t leaping for joy to be in front of the camera he was a great sport.  The three of us dodged the rain for about an hour and a half and just ended the session before the skies opened up.  The photos were all taken at the Bucks County Community College.  For no reason other than they have a really cool garden area.  I tried something new on the final image in this post.  I don’t know if I like it or not.  Let me know if you do.

Krista and Matt’s Wedding

I had the opportunity to travel down to Cape May NJ for Krista and Matt’s wedding.  What a great place to take wedding photos.  Krista actually grew up in Cape May and after visiting her home for getting ready photos I became very jealous of her.  Her parents live a block from the beach and if it’s not a private beach it’s pretty close.  There was almost no one there.  It was gorgeous.  Just sand and ocean and beach grass and mating horseshoe crabs.  You wouldn’t believe how many horseshoe crabs there were.  The bridal party were so much fun.  Past wedding clients, Heather and Ken, were both in the bridal party and were the reason I was hired to photograph Krista and Matt.

I love the beach and I love shooting beach weddings.  We had an amazing day for photography.  The flying banner that went by during the ceremony was a surprise to everyone, set up by a family friend.

I hope you all enjoy the beach wedding and possibly find yourself on a beach sometime soon.
