Ashley and Brennan’s Engagement Photos

Ashley and Brennan came down from the big Apple to join me for some very fun engagement photos.  Brennan is used to being behind the camera siince he works as a director in New York.  Even though he wasn’t a big fan of being in front of the camera I think he did a great job.  It’s not easy when you are posing and kissing and being photographed all while having hundreds of people walking by and watching.  I photographed Ashley and Brennan in New Hope during one of the first nice days of spring which brought people out in droves.  There were a lot of spectators but the two of them did a great job under that kind of pressure.  We walked around town, down alleys, along the old canals and finally out onto the bridge that crosses the Delaware river.

The little miracle

This is a long story about a miracle named Isaiah.  Since I will never be able to do the story justice I will give you the cliff notes version.  Isaiah was given very little chance to survive.  There was little hope that he would live past a few weeks or months and only a little more hope to make it through childbirth.  Many people were praying for a miracle but sadly the doctors did not expect much.  Isaiah was believed to have a rare genetic disease that caused deformities inside and outside of the body.  The genetic condition takes the lives of those who have it quickly.  Well, the day of the brith came and there was some deformities but Isaiah did not have the genetic condition the doctors thought.  After a few major surgeries, baby Isaiah and his family spent a while in the Ronald McDonald house and soon came home.  Isaiah has a few more hurdles to overcome but he is a survivor.  He is a handsome guy and I was happy to donate some time to photographing him, his brother Josiah and his parents Joy and Chris who are friends of our family.  Welcome home Isaiah.

Shruti and Prem

I know, I know.  Everyone doesn’t love my kids the way I do and maybe some of you want to see something else.  Well, your wish is about to come true.  Wedding season has officially begun and I will be blogging weddings and engagement photos like mad.  This year is off to an amazing start and I really feel like we are taking better and better photos. So, keep coming back and checking out the blog!  I’m working feverishly to keep it updated.

Shruti and Prem were married in India and they had the nerve not to bring me along for the photos.  The Taj Mahal in wedding photos.  Perfect.  But alas, I was not there.  However, I was invited to be a part of their reception in the states!  I love Indian weddings.  The colors, the family, the dancing!  I have never been to a rave, I mean reception, like this before.  The music was mostly Indian but very loud and very rockin.  The dance floor was overflowing with people and I was smack in the middle being bumped and smacked around.  It was awesome!

Before the dancing began Georgi and I had the opportunity to take about an hour of photos with the couple at a local park.  It was a bit chilly but not bad for March.  Shruti and Prem were really fun to hang out with.  They were relaxed, totally into each other and had great chemistry.  Plus as you can see from the photos, Shruti loves to laugh!  They both looked awesome and the photos turned out beautifully.

Rian, Reegan and Kinsey

Here are a few favorites that were taken over the past few weeks.  The first 4 are photos of my good friends Tim and Tara Amick and their new baby Rian.  She is a beauty.  Our families hung out for a few hours a week ago and I took 10 minutes to take some shots.  I love the way they turned out.

The others are my little girls.  Reegan had so much fun on the swings and the slides at the park.  You will also see a photo of her watching Sesame Street while hugging her Elmo and Cookie monster dolls.  She is so stinking cute sometimes I just can’t take it.

Kinsey is getting so big and is now learning to sit up.  You can see her with her dolls.  She LOVES to stare and babble to her baby dolls.  Her eyes get real big, then she grabs them and sucks on their heads.

I hope you enjoy my family.

If you have any children and you are interested in photos we are currently running a buy one get one free session.  Send me an e-mail and I’ll get you the details.

Suzanne and Ray

Suzanne and Ray were married and had their reception at the Warrington Country Club.  But before we headed off to the country club we planned on taking photos around Doylestown.  They were married on March 21st which could have been very cold but ended up being just gorgeous.  Doylestown is very cute and fun.  Suzanne had a blast getting many honks from friendly drivers.  She plans on putting the dress on whenever she’s feeling down.  Walking down a street in a wedding dress is a great way to help your self confindence.  Everyone cheers and honks and shouts congrats out their windows.  It was very fun and relaxing.  Both Suzanne and Ray were so relaxed.  Even the bridal party had a fun filled photo shoot.  I have to include a shout out to the bridesmaid Lisa who expertly held my flash for the sunset pics.  Didn’t she do a great job!    All in all the day was gorgeous, the bride was beautiful and the wedding was filled with great family and friends who had no problem partying the night away.
