Charlene and Kevin’s Wedding Photos

Charlene and Kevin were married at Nativity BVM which is a gorgeous church in Philadelphia and at the equally beautiful Trump National Golf Club.  As the name states, Donald Trump owns this wonderful golf club and it looks like a million bucks.  The staff told me that this was the very first wedding in the reception room since it had been gutted and redesigned.  The room was painted in off whites that looked great when the sun came through the large windows that covered one entire side of the room.  We all had fun shooting outside in monster sand traps and green hillsides.  The view was breath taking.  Charlene and Kevin danced the night away to a mummers string band that were filled with friends and family.

Caitlin and John’s Wedding Photos

Caitlin and John were married at St. Francis Xavier Church and had their reception at Penns Landing Caterers.  I’ve always wanted to photograph St Francis Xavier Church because whenever I’m at the Art Museum I see it and think it’s gorgeous sitting on the hill.  It was beautiful inside and out.  The day was gorgeous.  Penns Landing Caterers had a very cool ceiling made of mirrored bars that ran the length of a huge ballroom.  It turned the DJ’s lighting into firework patterns.  The party was going non-stop all night with a full floor.  It was perfect and Caitlin and John looked great!  We truly had a great time!

Monica and Dennis’s Wedding Day

Monica and Dennis were married at The Highlands Mansion and enjoyed their reception at the always gorgeous Knowlton Mansion.  I love love love mansions of any kind because there are so much visually to keep me busy.  Mansions always have interesting architectural details, warm lit rooms, manicured landscapes and lots of room to roam.  Two mansions are just too much to completely capture on one day but  it does make your album exciting and beautiful.  It also doesn’t hurt to have your wedding in November when the trees are fire orange.  Monica and Dennis love each other very much.  You can tell by Dennis’s reaction to Monica coming down the aisle.  Not too many guys like having photos of themselves crying posted on the web for all to see so I apologize ahead of time Dennis.  It’s sweet and I’m sure your guy friends aren’t looking at my blog anyway.   That photo is one of the reasons that I absolutely love my job.  I captured a side of Dennis that may never be photographed again and there is no doubt how he is feeling at that moment.

This is also the first blog post that my wife Michelle created for me!  Yeah!  Now I’m off to the 100 other things on my list to do today :)
